CLUB Lulu is high intensity dance fitness. This interval-style class is open level (all levels welcome!), but is best suited for those who have had prior dance fitness experience. Space is limited.

FAQ

How long are the classes?

Classes start on time and are a full hour, with about 50 minutes of workout and a few minutes to prepare you for the workout. Come early! Doors open at 6:50pm.


What kind of music is played?

I love to bring the SOUL out of music! But, if you're looking for more hip-hip, more pop, more afrobeats, more Caribbean, more hype latin, more exploring the soul in all the styles - these classes are for you! Like Ray Charles says, "Soul is like electricity - we don't really know what it is, but it's a force that can light a room... Soul is when you take a song and make it a part of you."


What level are the classes?

Although best suited for those who have experienced dance fitness, these are open level classes! Lu has been teaching for decades (telling my age!) and can modify up or down for your safety and enjoyment. It is most important that you build confidence and have fun at every stage of movement. Not only does this ensure your growth, but it also ensures that you are able to hear to your body's healthy cues and make changes as needed.


What if I miss the class I registered for?

We are unable to give refunds for missed classes. Because there is limited space, your reservation is very important! Be sure you and your companions are able to attend the class before purchasing your passes. Always check Facebook.com/groups/classes for any updates.


What do I bring?

Bring WATER and a PHOTO ID! If you forget everything else, don't forget your water. And photo ID to get in. Always dress in clothes and shoes to move freely. Other than that, bring yourself and your willingness to explore what your body can do!
